Licensing
& Distributorships
We
have numerous investments including the Master rights for a
worldwide management training company. Since we negotiated and
purchased those rights in 2001 we have achieved rapid expansion
and growth and have contributed to make Canada one of the largest
and fastest growing countries in the company's franchise system.
We have the distinction of achieving the
#1 producer worldwide for that organization over the past
years.
In
addition, Dan Goliger plays an important role of advisor to
the senior management team situated in Denver, as well as mentor
to other Master Franchisees around the world. Mark Goliger oversees
the business development and day-to-day operation of the Canadian-based
operation.
Franchising
Dan
Goliger was President of the Canadian Franchise Association
and Canada's special representative to the International Franchise
Association in Washington, D.C.
Formerly
the President and Chief Executive of Goliger's Travel®,
Dan took 4 established retail units with revenue of $3 million
dollars a year and converted them to a national franchise system
with chains across Canada generating over $100 million in revenues
annually. He took a business renowned for being highly competitive
and with marginal yields and grew it into a major force in the
travel industry.
Goliger's
Travel was one of the first travel chains in North America to
franchise its operation, operating both franchise and company
owned units. He initiated numerous innovations and had the business
experience to make the company very successful. One of his greatest
innovations was to recruit, train and motivate a national sales
force of over 2,000 sales reps.
Business
Expertise
Partnering
with Air Canada® and Thomas Cook Travel® among others,
Dan was previously a shareholder and on the Board of Directors
of a half a billion dollar computer accounting company.
In
1989 Dan Goliger was brought in by Canadian Regional Airlines®
to head up a new subsidiary cargo airline. He became president
and CEO of CanAir and then purchased all of the shares of the
airline. Against all odds in an extremely difficult and competitive
environment he grew the airline to a notable size. The company
operated both passenger and cargo planes throughout Canada,
the US, Mexico and Caribbean. CanAir operated a fleet of Boeing
737s, Airbus A320s and a fleet of aircraft dedicated to the
cargo operation. In 1997, the operation was merged with Royal
Airlines and Dan stayed on as President of Royal Cargo as part
of the negotiated transition.
